Last week we took a day to head over to Westboro, WI to visit Great-Grandma Kobielush and to play outside on her land. We usually have an exclusively 'girly' household. In general, Ellen flat, refuses to wear anything that isn't a dress. However, we do have some 'outdoorsey' in us too!

| Before we headed out, I wanted to get a picture of Ellen here, in front of the house where her namesake lived. Ellen was named after Jeremy's Great-Aunt Ellen. She lived in this house next to her sister (Jeremy's grandma). She did not have children of her own, but lived about 20 steps away from her sister and 5 nephews. She helped raise the boys and from what I have heard, she loved the woods, animals and the land. |

| At the end of the day we found the apple trees. The girls taste-tested each tree until we found a good one. Ellen was eating them just about as fast as we could pick them. We did manage to get her to stop eating long enough to bring some back for Grandma and some for us to take home to make into apple sauce. yum! |
We are back to dresses, light-up shoes and no frogs or snakes in our days, but we are longing to go back the next chance we get!
