We Can't Get Enough Of V-Town!

Last weekend was the Vernon County Fair!

Auntie Sandy made sure the girls got to go on any ride they wanted to go on.
They even got to fly their own plane!

And go fishing.

We also got to see Great-Grandma and Grandpa. They got some snuggle time on the couch. If you want to hear the greatest laugh ever, just ask Lucy how Grandpa laughs.

The girls got some good old fashioned play time outside as well.

They also played with some old fashioned toys. Sandy has 'little people' toys that are at least 25 years old. The girls love playing with them. Here they are playing in their favorite outfits.

Of course, Sandy also got some time with the babies.

One last special gift for the girls - Super Jammies!

Somehow, flying turned into swimming. Still cute! The girls had a blast.

We all had a blast.

Labor Day at the Cabin

Hello from the cabin!

We had so much fun at the cabin this weekend. We haven't been able to spend much time up there this summer, it was so refreshing to be in the warm fresh air by the lake. There were a couple of boat rides, some swimming, some craft projects and lots of fun.

Lucy had a bug jar this weekend too, she had a lady bug pet for a few hours.

That just might have been our last cabin trip of the year. We look forward to more cabin trips with more little cousins next year!

Girls Weekend in Viroqua

It is the time of year for another girls weekend in Viroqua.

It is such a great town with a quaint main street, great local shops and. . .
. . . the cutest in-store hat models you have ever seen!

Of course we did a little shopping and hit the Saturday morning farmer's market. This year I stocked up on local honey, maple syrup and alpaca booties for Ellen. Here are Gram and Lucy coming down Main street to meet us at the Cheese Corner, where you will find the BEST sandwiches that you have ever had!

'Hey, we need a snack for the walk home. But, were not sharing!'
