Today was the big day. It was Lucy's first day of preschool. She was so excited to go. She had already met her teachers and had her backpack all packed and ready. Just before we left, she decided that she needed to bring a special friend with her (just in the car, mom). So, here is my baby girl. . . ahem, big girl on her way out the door.

This is in her classroom. When they get there each morning, they find a place on the rug for story time. This was just before she turned around, held up her little finger at me and said. 'Mom, it's time for you to go now.'
